Audience research
To collect information from our audience we will be asking a focus group questions aswell as recieving feedback through mood boards on our song choice.

Technical Analysis
Five - Keep on moving

00:02 - Camer zooms in from a long shot to a close up on a TV for a voyerism shot of the group, set in a club situaion split into many levels and rooms.
00:05 - a series of fast cuts showing the setting looking through the TV.
00:09 - A panning shot across the room establishing the first group member walking aroung the room.
00:12 - Camera pans downwards into the next room introducing the second band member and continues panning down until all group members have been introduced to the aducience through the visuals.
00:22 - Camer cuts to a shot of the band member when the lyrics start, in a well light room with a blurred background so that the audience focuses on the artist.
00:25 - Cut to the member walking through doors entering another room.
00:28 - Cuts to a meat shot of the member walking towards the camera.
00:33 - Goes to a long shot of member being lifted up by a platform.
00:34 - Birds eye shot of member moving up on the platform looking at the camera.

Technical analysis
Westlife 'flying without wings'
01- A bright light slowly fades away, pan up to a close up shot of a young girl
03- A bright light like an explosion goes down a long tunnel on a dolly-cam
04- we can see the five figures of westlife at the end of the tunnel in a long, wide shot.
06- The light creeps away from the boys until it reaches the camera and has lit up the tunnel, with a still frame, wide, long shot.
07- The camera pans up to a close up of blacked out figure
09- Flashes accompany dismemebred close up shots of the groups' bodies
011- Quick cuts used by flahses of bright spotlights zoom out from a close up of the group to a long shot
016- The camera remains still as the group walk towards it and more dismembered close up shots are used on the boys
021- The boys are wearing similar clothing and are all in just black, some are wearing revealing clothes and they are walking simultaneously in a long, wide shot of them all
026- The camera goes to a close up of one members face then flahses to a close up of the girl to show a relationship and back to a mid-shot of another memeber.
028- The camera cuts back to a mid-shot of the boys walking towards a steadi-cam using hand gestures whilst singing, un-naturally bright light puts the background out of focus while the boys are in focus.
The camera time is dispatched equally between all the memebers with close ups of each group member and long, wide shots so all boys are on camera at once. The camera shots and editing are slow to symbolise the ballad that they are performing.

Product analysis 2
Britney Spears 'My prerogative' 2004
It is mostly narrative based with some performance.
The video is meta-narrative, the lyrics describing her own feelings.
The opening sequence has quick edgy cuts that go to the beat of the music. The lighting is very dark and the shots are very dismembered.
She is extremley objectified as she sits on the car in very seductive positions soaking wet and she uses femine touch alot which is one of her star motifs. The close ups of her face allow her to sing directly to the audience.
She looks up at the high angle shots in a sultry fashion touching her body along with dismembered shots of her body.
Her clothing and makeup is very dark like the lighting which connotates vampism and femme fatal characters.
She suggestivly touches herself and others.
The imagery is very sexual and she dances whilst watching herself on a projector going back to the idea of looking.
She is the center of attention but this appears to be because of her lack of clothing and this objectifies her greatly. People seem to be surrounding her doing things for her.
She is very plastic with platinum blonde hair her fake breasts on show and her flawless makeup. There are lots of close ups of her glossy lips as she sings.
Scenes flash from one to the other showing her different personas, she is lying in a bed at certain points crawling along (ritualisation of subordination).
She looks very confidently and seductivley at the camera as if seducing the camera and dancing for the audience in her underwear, this relates to her lyrics 'without all of the things people say' it is like she is rebelling in the video saying 'i'll act how i want to'.
During the club scene she is surrounded by people to make her look popular and desirable which is a star motif she has.
As she talks about 'why can't I live my life' there is a marriage scene between her and her boyfriend Kevin Federline which was a major speculation in the media at the time.
